Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toni Gonzalez-Collins, a Mexican American broadcaster. She anchors SportsNation as well as an anchor for SportsCenter anchor. She was hired by ESPN in the year 2016. She is a daughter of Maria Antonieta Collins, a journalist on television. Antonietta is a native bilingual. Since she was nine, Collins's ability to speak two languages has helped her get an employment in Miami as an assistant producer at Univision. When she was in St. Petersburg, she was then employed as a reporter by the CBS station to work as a sports journalist. The Univision 23 channel also produced her local sports show Accion Deportiva Extra, on which she acted as anchor. She worked as anchor for the sports segment of Despierta America Deportes morning show. She served in similar roles on the magazine program of the network Primer Impacto and for UniMas Network's Contacto Deportivo. Antonietta Collins' parents are originally from Veracruz Mexico. They eventually moved to Mexico City, where Antonietta Collins was born in November 1985. She's more mature than her younger sister. She is the older sister. In 1992, her parents separated soon after. In 1995, she got married again Fabio Fajardo, a naval engineer who died in 2006 due to kidney cancer. When on vacation Antonietta was staying at the house of her sister Canton Ohio. Her older Collins sister had just landed an offer to work. Antonietta was just graduating from high school but already knew what she was going to accomplish. At the end of the day, she fell in love with the school. The university offered her major. After completing her studies, she was accepted to the University for a master's degree of media studies. Her relationship lasted for a while with her instructor Mark Bergmann who was the supervisor at WRMU 91.1 FM of which she was a part. Her professor Mark Bergmann inspired her by his love of journalism. Also, he deeply affected her.
